a-ha | Lifelines | 2LP

a-ha are a Norwegian pop group whose recordings combine Morten Harket’s distinctive voice with melodic synthesizer writing and detailed arrangements. Their music moves between intimate songs and expansive choruses, retaining a recognisable balance of emotional expression, electronic textures and clear pop hooks.

Lifelines combines a-ha’s distinctive vocals with a fifteen-song studio programme. Songs including the title track, Forever Not Yours and Did Anyone Approach You connect melodic synthesizer writing with contrasting instrumental arrangements, presented here across two vinyl records.
