Diehl, Aaron | Vagabond | CD

Aaron Diehl is a pianist whose work connects jazz traditions with a parallel background in classical performance. His recordings draw on the language of earlier jazz pianists while allowing those influences to meet his own approach to musical structure and interpretation.

The Vagabond presents Aaron Diehl in a jazz programme informed by both earlier piano traditions and his classical background. The recording allows those different influences to meet through interpretation, improvisation and the musical structure of the performances.
