Aigul Akhmetshina | Aigul | CD

Aigul Akhmetshina is a mezzo-soprano whose performances bring a distinctive vocal colour to operatic repertoire. Her recordings place expressive phrasing and dramatic character at the centre, balancing lyrical passages with more forceful moments supported by orchestral accompaniment.

Aigul presents operatic repertoire with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by Daniele Rustioni. The programme places the mezzo-soprano’s voice within contrasting dramatic settings, allowing lyrical phrasing and changing orchestral colours to support the character of the performances.
