Alcest | Les Voyages De L'ame | CD

Alcest is a French band created by Neige in early 2000. It began as a solo project, and a few months later other musicians joined him, turning it into a band. The group started out playing raw black metal, but after the first demo, Tristesse Hivernale, its sound took on strong post-rock and shoegaze influences, and its direction and concept shifted towards more intimate themes. Neige chose the name for its ethereal sound.

Les Voyages De L'âme is the third album by Alcest, released as a one disc CD by Prophecy Productions on January 9, 2012. Neige is credited with vocals, guitar, bass, synths, composition and lyrics. Martin Koller is credited as producer, and Winterhalter is credited on drums.
