Alcest | Les Voyages De L'ÂMe (Sunrise Pearl Vinyl) | LP

Alcest is a French band created by Neige in early 2000. It began as a solo project, and a few months later other musicians joined him, turning it into a band. The group started out playing raw black metal, but after the first demo, Tristesse Hivernale, its sound took on strong post-rock and shoegaze influences, and its direction and concept shifted towards more intimate themes. Neige chose the name for its ethereal sound.

This is the vinyl LP album Les Voyages De L'Âme by Alcest, released by Prophecy Productions in 2024 with a release date of 20 December 2024. The music was composed by Neige, with lyrics by Charles Van Lerberghe and Neige, and the album was produced by Martin Koller. The release is classed in the blackgaze style.
