Alex Metric | Open Your Eyes | CD

Alex Metric is an electronic producer whose recordings combine prominent rhythmic patterns with melodic synthesizer writing. His music gives contrasting sound layers and vocal hooks an active role, shaping dance arrangements through changes in texture, repetition and carefully controlled dynamics.

Open Your Eyes includes Phoenix – Lisztomania [alex Metric Remix], Gorillaz – Stylo (Feat. Mos Def & Bobby Womack) [alex Metric Remix], Alex Metric & Steve Angello – Open Your Eyes (Feat. Ian Brown) [style of Eye Remix]. The programme places Alex Metric’s distinctive performances within a sequence of contrasting musical passages, presented here in a CD edition.
