Alternative Tv | The Image Has Cracked (Colour Vinyl) | LP

Alternative TV is a band formed in March 1977 by Mark Perry, who sang and played guitar, together with guitarist Alex Fergusson. The group played its first gig at the Nottingham Punk Festival in May 1977 and released its first album in May 1978. Mark Perry took the band into experimental territory in late 1978, and the band broke up for the first time in late 1979 before starting again in 1984.

The Image Has Cracked is the band's first album, originally released in 1978 and issued here as a vinyl LP reissue by Radiation Reissues in 2024. The album was produced by Alternative TV and Chris Gray.
