Amorphis | Far From The Sun(Lp In Gatefold (Transparent Red+Blue Marbled)) | LP

Amorphis is a progressive metal band from Helsinki, Finland, founded in 1990. The band began as a pure death metal group but moved away from that scene to develop a blend of heavy metal, progressive rock and folk. Its name comes from the word amorphous, meaning having no determinate form or shape.

Far From The Sun is a vinyl LP album, the sixth studio album by the Finnish heavy metal band Amorphis, released by Atomic Fire in 2022. It was the first album to feature drummer Jan Rechberger since 'Tales From the Thousand Lakes' in 1994, replacing Pekka Kasari, who had quit the band to spend more time with his family. It was the last album to feature vocalist Pasi Koskinen. Amorphis is credited as producer, with John McGregor credited for the vocal production.
