Arlo Guthrie | Alice’s Restaurant: Original MGM Motion Picture Soundtrack (50th Anniversary Edition) | CD

Arlo Guthrie is an American folk singer-songwriter whose work connects storytelling, humour and social commentary. The son of Woody Guthrie, he became associated with the 1960s folk revival through narrative songs and performances rooted in the American folk tradition.

This edition presents the soundtrack to the 1969 film Alice's Restaurant, rather than Guthrie's 1967 debut album. The 50th Anniversary Edition retains the original soundtrack sequence and expands it with additional material, connecting the film's music with Guthrie's extended storytelling performances.
