Ásgeir | In the Silence | CD

Ásgeir is an Icelandic singer-songwriter whose recordings combine folk-influenced melodies with electronic arrangements. His high vocal register and detailed production give acoustic material a distinct studio setting.

In the Silence presents English-language versions of songs from Ásgeir's Icelandic debut. John Grant helped adapt the lyrics, bringing the record's combination of folk songwriting and electronic textures to an international audience.
