Be Your Own Pet | Mommy | CD

Be Your Own Pet are an American band from Nashville whose music draws on garage rock and punk. Fronted by Jemina Pearl, their songs combine abrupt rhythms, distorted guitars and an energetic vocal style that established their identity in the 2000s.

Released in 2023, Mommy is the band's first studio album since 2008's Get Awkward. Produced by Jeremy Ferguson, it revisits their garage-punk foundations with songs shaped by adulthood, personal autonomy and the experience of returning to the group after a long break.
