Ocean, Billy | One World | 1LP

Billy Ocean was born in Trinidad on 21 January 1950 and was one of the first Caribbean singers, alongside Grace Jones, to be embraced by MTV, which led to a string of Top Ten hits in the mid-1980s. He was raised in the UK and recorded as Les Charles in the early 1970s, adopting the name Billy Ocean by the mid-1970s.
