Blonde Redhead | Penny Sparkle | CD

Blonde Redhead are a New York-based group whose music has moved from angular guitar rock towards more atmospheric arrangements. Their recordings combine Kazu Makino's vocals with the instrumental work of Amedeo and Simone Pace.

Released in 2010, Penny Sparkle is their eighth studio album. Its ten-song sequence uses electronic textures and spacious production, with Here Sometimes and Not Getting There setting the album's restrained musical tone.
