Seger, Bob & The Last Heard | Heavy Music The Comp | CD

Bob Seger And The Last Heard was a Detroit group that Seger formed to release a song he had previously written and given to another Detroit-area band. The Last Heard soon became the name of Seger's permanent band. The group came before Seger's stardom, and this compilation includes his earliest songwriting efforts.

Heavy Music: The Complete Cameo Recordings 1966-1967 is a compilation of the group's records, issued as one remastered mono CD by ABKCO on 5 October 2018. The collection gathers the band's records, first issued as 45rpm singles, and the recordings were originally made at United Sound Studios in Detroit. Bob Seger and Doug Brown are credited as producers, and Teri Landi as reissue producer.
