Cat Power | Sun | CD

Cat Power is the recording name of American singer-songwriter Chan Marshall. Her catalogue moves between sparse, voice-led performances and fuller arrangements, with personal writing and reinterpretation both playing important roles.

Released in 2012, Sun places Marshall's songwriting in an electronic and rhythm-focused setting. The eleven-track programme includes Cherokee and Ruin, marking a change from the instrumental approach of her earlier recordings.
