Cathedral | Society’s Pact With Satan | LP

Cathedral is a UK doom metal band formed in 1989 in Coventry by vocalist Lee Dorrian and guitarist Mark Griffiths, who met at a Carcass show. The band's sound moved gradually from slow, dirge-like arrangements on the debut album 670391 towards Black Sabbath-inspired heavy metal. Dorrian and co-founding guitarist Garry Jennings stayed with the band throughout its run, and in 2013, after 24 years together, they put it to rest.

Society's Pact With Satan is a single disc vinyl LP by Cathedral, released on the RISE ABOVE label in 2025. It is tagged with metal and doom metal genres, and the release date is 17 October 2025.
