Chameleons | Dali's Picture / Auffuhrung In Berlin (2lp Coloured Vinyl) | 2LP

The Chameleons is a post punk band formed in 1981 in Middleton, six miles north of Manchester. Their first single, In Shreds, was released on CBS and placed at number 42 in John Peel's Festive Fifty in 1982. After CBS dropped the band following that single, they signed with Statik.

This is a two disc vinyl compilation by The Chameleons, pairing Dali's Picture, a set of early studio recordings made at Cargo Studios in Rochdale in 1981 and 1982 that predate Script of the Bridge, with Aufführung In Berlin, a live concert recorded at the Loft in Berlin on 18 December 1983. Credited musicians include Mark Burgess on vocals and bass, Reg Smithies on guitar, Dave Fielding on guitar and keyboards and John Lever on drums. The edition was issued by Blue Apple Music with a release date of April 7, 2023.
