Church Of Misery is a doom rock band formed by Tatsu Mikami in the spring of 1995. The band is influenced by early Black Sabbath and 70s heavy rock, and its lyrics are dedicated to serial killers such as Manson, Dahmer and Ramirez. Tatsu Mikami plays bass in the band.

Born Under A Mad Sign is a two-disc vinyl release by Church Of Misery, released on 16 June 2023 by Rise Above Records. The credits include Kazuhiro Asaeda on vocals, Yukito Okazaki on guitar and keyboards, Tatsu Mikami on bass and lyrics, and Toshiaki Umemura on drums. The album was recorded between August 2022 and February 2023 in Tokyo and Nagoya, and this edition was issued in 200 copies.
