Quatuor Arod | String Quartets | DVD

Claude Debussy was a French composer, born on 22 August 1862 in Saint-Germain-en-Laye and died on 25 March 1918 in Paris. He is sometimes seen as the first Impressionist composer, although he rejected the term, and he was among the most influential composers of the late 19th and early 20th centuries.

String Quartets is a recording by Quatuor Arod of string quartets by Claude Debussy and Maurice Ravel, alongside Benjamin Attahir's Al Asr, released by Erato in 2023 on one CD and one DVD. The release was produced by Ken Yoshida and Pierre-Martin Juban, and the CD includes the world premiere recording of Al Asr.
