Crusaders | 2nd Crusade | CD

The Crusaders expanded their jazz foundations into funk and soul on The 2nd Crusade, originally released in 1973. Joe Sample, Wilton Felder, Stix Hooper and Wayne Henderson shape a fluid ensemble sound, moving from rhythmic grooves to the more reflective ‘A Message from the Inner City’.
