Cycle | Cosmic Clouds | 2LP

Cycle is a band formed in Middlesbrough in 1968 by John Whittingham, who was initially named Psycle. Whittingham, with brother-in-law Ronnie Patterson on bass and Norman Smith on drums, quickly built a significant following on the local circuit, supporting Van der Graaf Generator, Atomic Rooster and Mott The Hoople at the Redcar Jazz Club. In late 1971 they made a demo album at SRT Studios in Bedfordshire, pressing 99 copies and selling them at gigs.

Cosmic Clouds is a double vinyl album by Cycle, released on Rise Above Relics on 20 March 2020. The vinyl is purple and the edition is limited to 300 copies. The album is filed under hard rock.
