Dave Dobbyn is a New Zealand singer and songwriter whose music spans pop and rock. His recordings place expressive vocals and carefully shaped songs at their centre, with both band performances and more reflective material in his repertoire.
Beside You: 30 Years of Hits surveys Dave Dobbyn's career, connecting his work with Th' Dudes and DD Smash to his later solo recordings. The collection follows a songwriter whose songs became a lasting part of New Zealand's popular music repertoire.
