David Bowie | 1966 | CD

David Bowie was an English singer, songwriter and performer whose work moved across rock, pop, soul and electronic music. His recordings combine distinctive vocals with changing musical collaborations and production styles, using lyrical characters and contrasting arrangements to give each period of his work its own identity.

1966 presents recordings from an early part of David Bowie's career on CD. The programme revisits songs made before his later breakthrough, allowing his vocal performances and early songwriting to be heard within their original musical settings.
