Dead Kennedys | Mutiny On The Bay (2lp) | 2LP

Dead Kennedys were a punk band from San Francisco, active initially between 1978 and 1986. In 2000 Jello Biafra lost a legal case brought by his former bandmates over songwriting credits and unpaid royalties. The band reformed in 2001 without Biafra, with various vocalists, but has not released new material.

Mutiny On The Bay is a two LP vinyl reissue released in 2021 on the Audio Platter label. It is a live recording rather than one consecutive concert, with tracks drawn from performances in 1982 and 1986. The recordings were made at the Elite Club and The Stone in San Francisco and at Freeborn Hall in Davis, California. Kill the Poor, recorded at Freeborn Hall on February 21, 1986, is noted as the final performance of the Dead Kennedys.
