Destruction is a thrash metal band from Weil am Rhein in Germany, formed in 1983 by Marcel Schirmer, known as Schmier, Mike Sifringer and Tommy Sandmann. Their 1984 mini-album Sentence Of Death was their debut, and they later toured with Motörhead across Europe and on a few dates of Slayer's US tour.
Mad Butcher / Live Ruins is a remastered one-disc CD compilation by Destruction, released in 2025 by High Roller Records in Germany. Tracks 5 to 9 were recorded live at the Dynamo Open Air Festival in 1987.
