Dinosaur Jr | Ear Bleeding Country - The Best Of: 2cd Expanded Digipak Edition | 2CD
Dinosaur Jr. is an indie rock band formed in 1983 after the breakup of a hardcore band of which Lou Barlow and J Mascis were members. The band was originally named Dinosaur, but the name changed to Dinosaur Jr. after a supergroup sued them over the use of that name, following the release of You're Living All Over Me in 1987. After the 2005 reissue of their first three albums, the original lineup of J Mascis, Lou Barlow and Murph reformed to tour that material and then returned to the studio to record new music.
Ear Bleeding Country The Best Of Dinosaur Jr. is a 2 CD compilation by Dinosaur Jr., released by Cherry Red in 2018 as a remastered reissue. It was first issued in 2002 and was previously available only in the United States and Australia. The first disc covers the band's early 1980s recordings for independent labels and material from after its 1990 Warner Bros signing. The second disc adds later highlights up to 2018, including two tracks by The Fog, the post-Dinosaur Jr. band of J. Mascis.
