Dinosaur Jr | Puke + Cry The Sire Years 1990-1997 4cd Clamshellbox | 4CD
Dinosaur Jr. is an indie rock band formed in 1983 after the breakup of a hardcore band of which Lou Barlow and J Mascis were members. The band was originally named Dinosaur, but the name changed to Dinosaur Jr. after a supergroup sued them over the use of that name, following the release of You're Living All Over Me in 1987. After the 2005 reissue of their first three albums, the original lineup of J Mascis, Lou Barlow and Murph reformed to tour that material and then returned to the studio to record new music.
Puke + Cry (The Sire Years 1990 to 1997) is a four-CD box set compilation from Cherry Red, released on 27 January 2023 in the UK. The four discs contain the albums Green Mind, Where You Been, Without a Sound and Hand It Over. J Mascis is credited as producer and writer, and John Agnello as mixer.
