Dinosaur Jr | Without A Sound - Deluxe Expanded Edition: Double Gatefold Lp - Yellow Vinyl | 2LP

Dinosaur Jr. is an indie rock band formed in 1983 after the breakup of a hardcore band of which Lou Barlow and J Mascis were members. The band was originally named Dinosaur, but the name changed to Dinosaur Jr. after a supergroup sued them over the use of that name, following the release of You're Living All Over Me in 1987. After the 2005 reissue of their first three albums, the original lineup of J Mascis, Lou Barlow and Murph reformed to tour that material and then returned to the studio to record new music.

This remastered and extended edition of Without A Sound by Dinosaur Jr. is a two disc set released by Cherry Red on 3 November 2023. It pairs the 1994 album with a compilation of related singles and B-sides, and includes live recordings from Brixton Academy in London in October 1994 for BBC Radio One. J Mascis is credited with guitar, vocals, drums and keyboards, and as producer, with Mike Johnson on bass and vocals and Thalia Zedek on vocals. Keith Cameron wrote the sleeve notes.
