Dio | Philadelphia Freedom (2lp) | 2LP

Dio is an American heavy metal band formed in 1982 by singer Ronnie James Dio and drummer Vinny Appice after they left Black Sabbath. The line-up changed many times, with Ronnie James Dio the only constant member. The band was active from 1982 to 1991 and again from 1993 to 2009, ending with the death of Dio following a diagnosis of stomach cancer in late 2009.

Philadelphia Freedom - The Spectrum Broadcast 1984 is a double vinyl LP by Dio, issued by Fallen Angel as an unofficial release in September 2023. The release is on two discs, and its title refers to a 1984 broadcast.
