Dissection | The Somberlain | CD

Dissection is a metal band from Strömstad, Sweden, founded in 1989 by Jon Nödtveidt and Peter Palmdahl. The band combined various extreme metal styles with a melodic sensibility and a melancholic atmosphere, and it refused to be classed as death or black metal, calling its music Metal of Death. Reinkaos was the band's third album, released in 2006, and the band ended that year.

The Somberlain is a one-disc black metal album by Dissection, released on Black Lodge Records on 28 October 2022. This is a remastered reissue of the album, and the release country is Sweden.
