Dissection | The Somberlain (Gatefold Digi Pop-Up + 8-Page Booklet) | CD

Dissection is a metal band from Strömstad, Sweden, founded in 1989 by Jon Nödtveidt and Peter Palmdahl. The band combined various extreme metal styles with a melodic sensibility and a melancholic atmosphere, and it refused to be classed as death or black metal, calling its music Metal of Death. Reinkaos was the band's third album, released in 2006, and the band ended that year.

The Somberlain is a 1 CD album reissue, remastered, released on October 28, 2022 by Black Lodge Records. The release credits Jon Nödtveidt with lead vocals and rhythm and acoustic guitar, John Zwetsloot with rhythm, acoustic and classical guitar, Peter Palmdahl on bass guitar and Ole Öhman on drums, with Dissection as producer.
