Dysmorphic | An Illusive Progress | CD

Dysmorphic are a French death metal band whose recordings emphasise technical instrumental playing. Their music combines intricate guitar lines, shifting rhythmic patterns and harsh vocals, with arrangements that move rapidly between contrasting sections rather than relying solely on repeated riffs.

An Illusive Progress presents Dysmorphic's technical death metal in a detailed studio setting. The album brings tightly coordinated guitars, bass and drums together around complex song structures, balancing rapid passages with changes in tempo and texture across its programme.
