Ed Askew | Ask the Unicorn | 1LP

Ed Askew was an American singer-songwriter whose early recordings combined a distinctive voice with tiple accompaniment. His songs belong to the exploratory folk music associated with independent recording in the late 1960s.

Originally issued by ESP-Disk in 1968, Ask the Unicorn presents a spare, direct performance style. The album's ten songs place Askew's voice and string accompaniment at the centre of an uncluttered recording.
