Enslaved | Axioma Ethica Odini (Re-Issue) | 2LP

Enslaved is a progressive metal band from Haugesund, later Bergen, Norway, formed in June 1991 by Ivar Peersen, also known as Ivar Bjørnson, and Kjetil Grutle, also known as Grutle Kjellson. The band is typically identified as viking metal, and although its current sound is characteristic of black metal, it is very much influenced by British progressive rock bands of the 1970s. Arve Isdal has played guitar in the band since 2002.

Axioma Ethica Odini is a 2 disc vinyl LP album reissue by Enslaved, released by By Norse Music in Norway in 2019. The reissue includes two songs recorded during the album sessions that were previously available only on a 7 inch single, one of them a doom version of Jotunblod made for a special set at Roadburn Festival 2010. The music is credited to Ivar Peersen, the lyrics to Grutle Kjellson and Ivar Peersen, and the production credits include Ivar Bjørnson, Grutle Kjellson, Herbrand Larsen and Iver Sandøy.
