Enslaved | Yggdrasill | CD

Enslaved is a progressive metal band from Haugesund, later Bergen, Norway, formed in June 1991 by Ivar Peersen, also known as Ivar Bjørnson, and Kjetil Grutle, also known as Grutle Kjellson. The band is typically identified as viking metal, and although its current sound is characteristic of black metal, it is very much influenced by British progressive rock bands of the 1970s. Arve Isdal has played guitar in the band since 2002.

Yggdrasill is a single CD album by Enslaved, released by By Norse Music on 2 December 2022 as a reissue. Enslaved and Svein Sjøen produced it, and Daimonion wrote the lyrics and mixed the album with Sjøen. Grutle Kjellson plays bass and sings, and Trym Torson plays drums.
