Fela Kuti | Live with Ginger Baker (ETCHING) | 2LP Coloured Vinyl Red

Fela Kuti was a Nigerian bandleader, saxophonist and activist whose music helped establish Afrobeat. His extended arrangements brought together jazz improvisation, funk rhythms and West African musical traditions, giving his outspoken vocals a powerful foundation of interlocking percussion, guitars and horns. Live with Ginger Baker joins Africa 70 with the former Cream drummer. This 50th-anniversary red-vinyl edition adds Tony Allen and Ginger Baker’s 1978 Berlin drum performances and an etched fourth side.
