Genesis | A Live Collection (2cd) | 2CD

Genesis were formed at Charterhouse School in Godalming, Surrey, in 1967, and are among the top 30 highest-selling recording artists of all time. Their early work, with founder member Peter Gabriel as vocalist, was characterised by complex song structures and elaborate instrumentation. After Gabriel left in August 1975, Phil Collins took on lead vocals, and the remaining three members moved into more accessible pop-based music, which brought huge growth in the band's popularity through the 1980s and early 1990s.

A Live Collection 1972-1974 is a two disc live compilation by Genesis, released by London Calling in Europe in July 2025 as an unofficial release. The credits list Peter Gabriel, Steve Hackett, Tony Banks, Mike Rutherford and Phil Collins. The recordings come from concerts and broadcasts in London, Paris and Brussels, including the Rainbow Theatre in London on 20 October 1973.
