Genesis | Sky Watching 1972 (2cd) | 2CD

Genesis were formed at Charterhouse School in Godalming, Surrey, in 1967, and are among the top 30 highest-selling recording artists of all time. Their early work, with founder member Peter Gabriel as vocalist, was characterised by complex song structures and elaborate instrumentation. After Gabriel left in August 1975, Phil Collins took on lead vocals, and the remaining three members moved into more accessible pop-based music, which brought huge growth in the band's popularity through the 1980s and early 1990s.

Skywatching 1972 is a 2 CD unofficial release issued by Expensive Woodland Recordings in the UK, released on 20 September 2024. The release is in the prog rock style, with rock and pop given as genres.
