Genesis | The Shrine Auditorium Vol.1 (Clear Vinyl 2lp) | 2LP

Genesis were formed at Charterhouse School in Godalming, Surrey, in 1967, and are among the top 30 highest-selling recording artists of all time. Their early work, with founder member Peter Gabriel as vocalist, was characterised by complex song structures and elaborate instrumentation. After Gabriel left in August 1975, Phil Collins took on lead vocals, and the remaining three members moved into more accessible pop-based music, which brought huge growth in the band's popularity through the 1980s and early 1990s.

This is a live recording by Genesis titled The Shrine Auditorium, Los Angeles 1975, Volume One. It is a double vinyl LP album taken from a live FM broadcast of a concert at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles, California, on 24 January 1975. The release is an unofficial release issued in 2024 by Gimme Recordings, with a release date of 19 April 2024, and its style is listed as prog rock.
