Gengahr | Where Wildness Grows | CD

Gengahr are a London band whose music combines melodic guitar pop with dreamlike textures and an understated psychedelic character. Felix Bushe's distinctive high register vocals sit within arrangements that balance intimacy with layered instrumental detail, allowing the songs to move between lightness, unease and fuller band passages.

Where Wildness Grows develops Gengahr's melodic guitar sound through a fuller, more detailed studio setting. The songs retain the band's distinctive vocal character while changes of rhythm, texture and scale give the arrangements additional depth. It presents a broader musical perspective than the intimacy of the debut album.
