Geoff Muldaur | Password | CD

Geoff Muldaur is an American singer and guitarist whose work draws on blues, folk and traditional popular song. His distinctive voice and interest in older repertoire connect acoustic performance with a broad musical history, while thoughtful arrangements allow the individuality of each song to remain central.

Password places Geoff Muldaur's distinctive voice within a programme that draws on blues and traditional song. The performances give familiar musical language an individual shape through phrasing, instrumental detail and the relationship between singer and accompaniment. Its focus is on the character of the songs rather than a single uniform arrangement.
