George Benson | Classic Love Songs | CD

George Benson is an American guitarist and singer whose career connects jazz improvisation with soul and popular song. His fluid guitar lines, distinctive tone and warm vocal delivery have made instrumental virtuosity and accessible melody equal parts of his musical identity.

Classic Love Songs gathers George Benson performances around a romantic theme. The selection places his warm vocal delivery and melodic guitar playing within a shared programme, allowing different arrangements and tempos to connect through their emotional character. It offers a song centred view of an artist equally associated with instrumental jazz.
