George, Benson | Twice The Love | CD

George Benson is an American guitarist and singer whose career connects jazz improvisation with soul and popular song. His fluid guitar lines, distinctive tone and warm vocal delivery have made instrumental virtuosity and accessible melody equal parts of his musical identity.

Twice the Love places George Benson's expressive vocals within a polished soul and contemporary R&B setting. The arrangements give romantic songs a rhythmically detailed backdrop, while melodic guitar playing connects the programme with his instrumental identity. It offers a focused view of the vocal side of his studio work.
