George Harmonica Smith | ...Of The Blues | CD

George Harmonica Smith was an American blues musician whose powerful harmonica playing connected melodic expression with the physical drive of the blues. His work used both chromatic and diatonic instruments, giving him a broad tonal range and a particularly distinctive voice within amplified blues performance.

...Of the Blues places George Harmonica Smith's expressive harmonica at the centre of a blues album programme. The performances connect melodic lines with rhythmic drive, allowing the instrument's changes of register and tone to contribute to the character of individual songs and to the interaction with the accompanying musicians.
