George Haslam, Richard Leigh H | Suite Of Dreams | CD

George Haslam and Richard Leigh Harris bring reed instruments and piano into a shared improvisational setting. Their musical conversation depends on listening, changing texture and the shape of individual phrases, allowing composed ideas and spontaneous development to interact without reducing the partnership to a fixed accompaniment role.

Suite of Dreams brings George Haslam, Richard Leigh Harris and Steve Kershaw together as the OxJaMS trio. Baritone saxophone, clarinet and tárogató interact with piano, keyboards, double bass and electronics, creating a flexible chamber setting in which acoustic colours, improvisation and changes of texture shape the music.
