George Michael | Older | CD

George Michael was a British singer, songwriter and producer whose music combined melodic pop, soul and carefully shaped studio arrangements. His expressive voice could move from intimate restraint to fuller emotional emphasis, while his writing explored love, identity and personal experience with unusual directness.

Older is George Michael's 1996 studio album, bringing a more restrained and reflective musical setting to his songwriting. Jesus to a Child and Fastlove stand alongside songs that use jazz and soul influenced textures, with carefully controlled vocals and production giving the album a particularly intimate emotional character.
