Georgia Stitt | Quiet Revolution | CD

Georgia Stitt is an American composer, lyricist and musician whose work connects musical theatre with contemporary song. Her writing uses character, narrative detail and expressive melody to give individual voices a clear dramatic setting, allowing a song to develop as a small story as well as a musical performance.

A Quiet Revolution presents original songs by Georgia Stitt, performed by a cast that includes Sutton Foster, Laura Benanti, Norm Lewis and other theatre singers. The programme explores division and connection through individual voices, giving the composer's writing a range of dramatic and emotional perspectives.
