Dance compilations place recordings by different performers and producers within a shared rhythmic setting. Contrasting vocal hooks, electronic textures and arrangements provide variety, while familiar club and pop songs create continuity across the sequence. The changing artists give the programme its range rather than one band's musical identity.
Get Ready for This gathers dance and pop recordings into a three disc various artists collection. Different singers and producers provide contrasting hooks and electronic arrangements, while rhythmic energy connects the sequence. The extended programme brings familiar dance floor material together across several musical voices.
