GG Allin was a punk rock singer born on August 29, 1956, in Lancaster, New Hampshire, and died on June 28, 1993, in New York City. He began as a drummer and is best remembered for live performances that included transgressive and violent acts toward audiences. He recorded prolifically across punk, spoken word, country and Rolling Stones-influenced rock.

This is a reissue of the album Freaks, Faggots, Drunks & Junkies by GG Allin, released as one vinyl LP on MVD Audio in 2008. It was GG Allin's fourth album when it was originally released on Homestead Records in 1988, and it was recorded at The Lab in Manchester, NH, in April 1988. GG Allin sings and is credited as a producer alongside Bulge. Johnny X plays guitar, Ed Lynch plays bass, Charlie Infection plays drums and Sean Doyle provides backing vocals.
