Gilmore And Roberts | Innocent Left, The | CD

Gilmore and Roberts are the British folk duo of Katriona Gilmore and Jamie Roberts. Their songs combine fiddle, guitar and close vocal interplay with detailed storytelling, allowing original writing and acoustic musicianship to develop through the conversation between two distinctive performers.

The Innocent Left presents Gilmore and Roberts' folk songwriting through the conversation between voice, fiddle and guitar. The arrangements give the stories room to develop while allowing the duo's instrumental skills to contribute to their shape. Changes of pace and mood connect the individual songs within a shared acoustic world.
